The Partridge Family, Great family Entertainment

If you are old enough to remember this very funny sitcom from the 70's, then I probably don't need to tell you anything. If you are not, please do yourself a favor and experience a comedy series from a time when writing and story lines were at their best. Even after 30 years, you will laugh and laugh at this situation comedy about a regular family with musical talent, a single mother trying to make ends meet and all the wacky adventures that ensue. David Cassidy and Danny Bonaduce are very funny and for their first starring roles are actually pretty decent actors. Susan Dey was every boys fantasy back then and Shirley Jones had a certain wholesome sexyness about her. Dave madden plays their manager and is a scene stealer whenever he is around. The episodes where he and Danny Bonaduce interact are absolutely hillarious ! The music is cheesy, but you will find yourself humming the tunes afterward. The Partridge Family.... A Favorite Show

So glad they have The Partridge Family in all its seasons available on DVD! This was my favorite show back when it came out..... always looked forward to Friday night! There are no more shows like this, especially " Family Shows " ! Now a days it is as if though television groups are trying their best to keep up with the times and shove Reality T.V. down everyone's throat! To watch the most grotesque behavior possible is not an option in my book! Even my kids will not allow their children to watch much of television at all due to its contents! I'm so glad to find programs once loved, available for purchase so they can be enjoyed, and remember there once was a time when things in life were nice and enjoyable! An Excellent Acquisition !!!

Good morning friends,

First, I will be objective: I love the Partridge Family. For this reason I bought this box.
What I most like in this Box: its the first episode and see David Cassidy starting his career.

"What you dislike about it": This question has no answer for me, 'cause I love every character, every episode.

I would buy the product again, yes! But only if my box break (lol). Cause the box that I bought its perfect.

For Partridge Family's fans, I recommend buying this box, without a doubt!
And for who is not fan, I recommend too. I'm sure that you will fall in love with this beautiful musical family!

The Partridge Family, is a series that lives in my heart. It's part of my childhood. The first box is magnificent.

My favorite scene:

The scene in which the children are paralyzed with fear, facing with the audience, is beautiful.
Shirley Partridge's encouragement to their children, it's exciting. I will never forget!

I love all the others episodes too!!

If you grew up with the Partridge Family this is a must have. Excellent!!!

My wife loved the Partridge Family growing up. She had some episodes on vhs tape but the quality was not very good. I purchased the dvd's for her as a gift and they are great! The picture and sound quality are excellent. She really has a great time watching all the episodes and says it's like going back in time. In our house it was a great purchase.Read full review...

A GREAT SHOW. WHEN I WANT TO GO BACK IN TIME TO WHEN I WAS A LITTLE BOY, I WATCH THE OLD TV SHOWS SUCH AS THIS. THE SHOW HAD GREAT MUSIC AND I ENJOY SITTING DOWN TO WATCH IT. Friday nights was my night to watch two of my fav shows...The Brady Bunch and The Partridge Family. I even cut my hair like Keith at one time and had it parted in the middle as he did. What a great program to watch with your kids. Life was not as complicated as it is now. This is TV that you don't have to worry about what your kids are watching.
