Engrossing film; short, but captures the issue well.

We saw this made-for-TV film as a rental and then decided we wanted to own it. James Spader and Paul Giamatti give excellent performances, as do Alan Arkin and Claire Forlani. The film is too brief, but it's a good introduction for those who know nothing about the real Mr. Ellsberg and his heroic and patriotic decision to risk being jailed as a traitor in order to let the American public know what their government had been doing in secrecy during the years in Vietnam. We need another Ellsberg now to let the public and press know what Bush's shadow government is doing in Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan.Read full review...
