Still Holds it Weight Against the new Hollywood Version

I will always be a HUGE Fan of this Classic!! The Individual Personalities Stand out Clearly as you move from actor to actor!! This is something that was greatly missed with the new modernized version! The Classic version relied on the stars and their supurb acting ability to carry the movie with little big budget special effects!! The New Version relied on exactly that, Big Budget Special Effects using a Group of Hollywood Hunks that had little or no individuality! I loved both but will always respect the Classic more!! Ernest Borginine, Shelly Winters, Red Buttons...They shined on their own efforts without the Current Hot Hollywood Looks and Big Budget the current movie had.
