Sorry, but it WAS bad

First, as a huge Barbra Streisand fan, let me say that I like almost everything Barbra Streisand breathes on. "Prince of Tides" started out so bad that I couldn't get past the 1st 15 minutes and turned it off. The NTSC VHS film (1999 issue) just didn't come across like the big screen and it was totally lacking. Too bad, since I really liked the actors - just didn't care for the story and the director's vision of it, it was really too disjointed and didn't fall into a believeable story line.Read full review...
