Rocky & Bullwinkle the great

I purchased this because of my memories. I could not have known all the comedy involved when I was watching it for the first time. When one watches episodes not a week apart but minutes apart then more magic happens: The end of the second episode does match the beginning of the next one week later.The stripes on "fearless leader" change as well. A wonderful sense of freedom offered the animators is evident.
The puns and poke at life are still relevant and very funny. The secondary features are blah at first but continue to get better and so one can watch a growth in creative license.
Remember this is a weekly series so the introduction can become irksome however the first segment is under one" title" and so can be skipped using the remote. So far in the third season the "big G stands for grand ma" has not appeared so season four is my next purchase.

Rocky & Bullwinkle DVD

This DVD has all of the Rocky & Bullwinkle shows from its third season. I always loved the show: the hilarious antics of the squirrel and moose, how they often unwittingly foiled the spys Boris & Natasha. The show also included Dr. Peabody, a dog scientist, complete with time travel, and last but not least, the Fractured Fairytales. I watched the show every day after school in the early sixties. I also recently purchased the Rocky & Bullwinkle first and second seasons. It's fun to have things that we liked from way back - comic books, dolls, action figures, whatever. I have really enjoyed both buying and selling items on eBay. Of course my reason for buying this featured item is that I enjoyed the stories back then, and will enjoy viewing them now - just have to find the time to sit back and watch them!Read full review...

Love Rocky and Bullwinkle!!

I fell in love with Rocky and Bullwinkle in the '60s!! Now my grandson loves them as much as I do. We often watch them together and laugh just as I did fifty some years ago. Can't beat 'em!!
