Modernizing of a Classic

I've watched the original version many, many times, and listened to the soundtrack countless times. That being said, I was able to enjoy the improved sound quality of this version. If you know the old version, you will too. The Bonus CD is cool too - with four previously unreleased songs, and some interesting commentary. These four performances will be appreciated by Zep fans, but as compared to the level of the performance in the original - I can see why they didn't make the last cut. Of course they are great because they are Zep, but I would say not their best exhibition of talent.

I could watch this a hundred times !!!

This DVD is fantastic!
Any music lover will appreciate the ground breaking event the making of this film represented. Personally, it was my first experience of a " rock concert ". I was too young to go to a real one and so " the song remains the same " was my first., second, third...well you know.
I can't say enough about the memories this film brought back!
Breaking ALL previous attendance records for a rock concert was a given...even over the beatles!!!
Highly recommended for anyone who has any interest in the history of music, and especially, rock and roll.
