Con men versus the Swindlers
One of my favorite movies depicting the era of big crooks and the small guy trying to survive the injustices during the Great Depression. Robert Redford and Paul Newman come together again as they did in their previous encounter of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The movie is very well directed and it keeps the audience focused on how the little guy overcomes the formidable task of conquering the evil which controlled a large metropolis. Overall I recommend this movie for the chemistry between these actors -Redford/Newman is very good and very well worth watching. Lastly the sound track produced Marvin Hamlish is very good and memorable.Read full review
