Cute way to Incorporate Taoism using our lovable Pooh

Benjamin Hoff's simple story-telling using the characters from Winnie the Pooh creates a calm and interesting atmosphere in which he introduces the reader to Taoism. He goes on to prove that Pooh "just is" - that he lives the simple life and follows "the way." In short, the reader can hit two birds with one stone by reading this book: learn about Taoism, and enjoy a creative little story with childhood characters. Love this book! Great insights in an amusing and entertaining way.

This is one of my favorite books. I buy it on clearance sales whenever I can to give as gifts. It's got so many good insights (for both Eastern and Western ways of thinking). With Pooh and friends providing the insights, they seem clear and easily understood; something a lot of people have trouble with when reading about Taoism and other Eastern religions. This book was very simple, easy to read, yet very insightful. We read an excerpt from it in english class last year and I thought to myself "Wow, thats really cool" so I bought the book and read it and I thought the same thing the whole time.
