A "must-have" for a fan of The Cure's upbeat eccentric pop-sound!
I bought this because I'm a true "Cure" fan and I absolutely love everything that Robert Smith and The Cure has ever done musically. If you loved "Three Imaginary Boys" and "Boys Don't Cry" (albums, respectively), then you will definitely love this album. It's much more upbeat and off the wall, so to speak. You will also really love this album if you couldn't live without songs like "Lovecats", as "Dressing Up" and "The Caterpillar" proves. Some other memorable songs off the album are "Bananafishbones" and "Bird Mad Girl". Another "must-have" for a fan of the Cure, especially for those fans who really enjoy their more upbeat, eccentric pop sound.Read full review...
great album
this is a great album. the version of bananafishbones is a semi tone slower then the version on the remastered. the drum roll on shake dog shake is correct. the version for the rhino label remaster is cut short by a half second.Read full review...
