The Ultimate Nerd Collection (unlimited fun in 10 DVDs)

I think there is no movie so hyped and spoken about as the Matrix Trilogy, starting in 1999 and ending in 2002. In this ultimate 'fin de siecle' epos the new millenium kicked in bad, and left millions in awe about the breathtaking SFX and setting a new standard for science fiction action movies.
The reason I bought the set was of course the kickass action statue of Neo (in fact quite poorly crafted, but hey, it's the content that counts). And with the content is nothing wrong! 10 DVDs of documentaries, the Animatrix series, the three movies, they really tried to pack it with really made good stuff. In the main documentary you have white rabbits popping up to side-track you to other segments of the huge production of these movies. You'll be surprised how much analog, old fashioned handy work is build in the Matrix. You know Hollywood is a cardboard world, but to get a peek behind the cardboard is really refreshing and sometimes mindblowing (like the freeway they build for the Reloaded movie...)
I paid 60 bucks for it, and never had any regrets. But then agian, I'm also having a tailor made Neo coat, so I'm totally into the whole stuff...
