First Riordan Book

As my title says, this is my first Riordan book. I saw the Percy Jackson movie and I enjoyed that. My sister picked this book up for me as a present and I didn't begin reading it until a couple weeks ago. Excellent book for a fantasy reader. Many adventures, doesn't get boring. Book is from multiple perspectives so it adds to the plot. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes adventures or fantasy books, or maybe for someone who is interested in Egyptian mythology.Read full review...

A must read for mythology book lovers

My so has never read a big novel before and this is a South Carolina Award book nominee so it was on my sons reading list. He loved it so much that I he is starting on the Lightning Theif and the rest of Rick Riodan's book.
