this was an incredible game. one of the best RPG's that i have played. i loved the combat system, and with the ability to do more than just hit during a fight kept me on my toes. the character selection was great. sometimes i had a hard time picking my favorites. the storyline was very involving, but not to an annoying point. there weren't that many cut scenes, and there wasn't too much to read during gameplay. the variety of items to use was great, not as much as some games, but none the less impressive for a PS1 game. it was a very long game, well over 20 hours of game play if the whole game is used, not just the storyline was played but all the little things that you can do. i loved this game!Read full review...

Pretty Neat Game!

I enjoy this game a lot. It definitely has a Final Fantasy feel to it, especially the combat system. It has a pretty interesting story line and is overall a pretty cool PlayStation 1 game. Graphics are not the greatest, but one would not expect HD quality graphics from a PS1 game. If you can get over that, it's a fun adventure.Read full review...

This game is misunderstood. It may have poor dialogue, goofy moments and not the best graphics at times, but the story, length, FMVs and challenge are great. There is some throw back to games of yester year. Namely Final Fantasy IV and a ghost ship that reminds people of Super Mario RPG.
