The Office - More than just hype, it's hilarious

I decided to see what all the hype was about, thinking it must have been all talk, but I was pleasently dissapointed. I'll admit that it took an episode or two to get use to the awkwardmess and sometimes embarrassing humor, but the show as a whole is hilarious. There is a bit of the same "will they wont they" drama found in most shows, but the charachters and so much more believable and humorous than in any show I've ever watched. This is up there with my faorite TV season shows, along with "Scrubs" and "Family Guy".

Straightforward, appropriate.

I bought The Office-Season One for my daughter's 13th birthday. We are both already huge fans of the show, and have viewed season one already, as reruns. The Season One dvd includes the six original episodes, a lot of extended play deleted scenes(not just the choppy clips some collections show), and commentary. The DVD itself is easy to navigate and a pleasure to watch again and again! We can't wait to share it with people that haven't seen the show yet!Read full review...

Great Comedy!

I am a huge Office fan as so many in America are, and I love to watch the 6 season 1 episodes. It's interesting to see how the show has progressed from this season, and I enjoy looking for things that foreshadow future episodes. The Office is the kind of random humor that catches you off guard, and in a sense is actually "smart" funny. You really have to be intelligent to get all of the jokes. All in all, I recommend the Office Season 1 to anyone who loves the Office and also to those who have never seen the Office... you will get hooked!Read full review...

The Office - Season One (DVD, 2005)

I started watching THE OFFICE just recently. I went to visit my daughter in NC and she had all of the seasons on DVD. I stayed a week with her and we ended up watching every single episode while I was there. I have never laughed so hard in my whole life!!! I loved these so much I came home and bought every one of the seasons on EBAY. My daughter got me Season 5 for my birthday so I am all caught up and now watching it every Thursday night! The Office Season 1

What can you say about one of the funniest shows on TV? The Office is hilarious, easily one of the top 5 funniest shows I have ever seen. Season 1 is where it all begins. Its a bit awkward at times, especially if you have watched seasons 2-4, the characters arent quite as refined yet, but still hilarious. I would recommend this show to anyone, very funny!

Great show. Disk Was dirty

The show isn’t great. The disk was scratched and dirty with finger prints and other smudges but seems to be playing ok after cleaning.
