Six episodes when expecting more?

The Office is always a good show and never truly disappoints. However, I bought this item as a gift and was unaware that the DVD only had 6 episodes and no inside booklet whatsoever.

I suppose it was my own ignorance, but I was still pretty disappointed. I felt as though it came off as a "cheap" gift. Regardless, for all Office lovers out there, it is a necessity to the collection. Afterall, this is when we fall in love with the characters!Read full review...

The Office - Season One (2005, DVD)

I don't really like this show -- too boring to me, although occasionally there is some very funny wit. I bought this because my husband kept saying the show was GREAT! But after watching it, I still think the show is boring. Now, perhaps the later seasons are good. My husband doesn't really like Season 1 either. Sometimes it takes a while for the characters to mesh well. I think it's a clever show, but I wouldn't really recommend it.Read full review...

Great start of a great show

Season 1 of the Office is entertaining and definitly worth the purchase. I did find Season 2 to be more hilarious though, and season 1 seemed a little lacking for some reason with only 6 episodes, even though it can be bought at a cheap price.Read full review...

Short season, but funny!

I was disappointed that there were only six half-hour episodes in Season One of The Office, but it was a lot of fun to get on board with this comedy gem from the beginning. The style is unique - a documentary filming style - and the cast of characters is bizarre and loveable. I'm going after Season Two to see what happens next!Read full review...
