Fresh like a sea-breeze, fruity, and metallic!
The first 30 minutes is where all the fun of Womanity happens. I find the top notes to be like Mystique from the X-Men - a shapeshifter! At times, the opening is an explosion of apple pie filling with crisp freshness of green apples and the spice of the cinnamon. Sometimes I get peaches. Other times, I get the "expensive hair conditioner" vibe that others talk about. And lastly, sometimes I get an almond-y and coconut vibe. No matter what I detect on the opening, the apple pie filling or peaches or shampoo or almond-coconut is slathered on a shrilling metal accord with a varnish/lacquer nuance that I thoroughly enjoy. I think this varnish nuance is what turns off a lot of people. It's literally like nail polish or some type of hazardous chemical.
After the explosive introduction, Womanity becomes linear and gets very green and offers an intense yet unusual oceanic tang with sweetness while maintaining the metal accord. If anything, the juice should have been dyed an ashy gray as I feel that's the best way to describe the majority of Womanity's scent.
The projection is unapologetically nuclear for the first 30 minutes so beware if you plan to "freshen up" mid-day. After that, it is a sultry skin scent while still having an impressive light scent trail with its green, metallic sweetness.Read full review...
