Tiger Woods 07 Xbox 360
This is a pretty good game overall, but I did notice some things that I was not to pleased about. First let me start with the graphics, they are excellent. The fairways and greens are great. I didn't like the fact that you are not able to move left or right at the Tee's. Some of the fairway shot were not able to get the correct bounce because the crowd was in the way. Sometimes the wind is correct off the tee, but then the wind changes, but the wind gauge stays the same so your second shot is not effected the amount the wind gauge shows. Also I didn’t like the green cameras at all. The reason I say that is you are not able to take a good look at the greens from all angles to see all the breaks and slopes. The reason I bought this game is because I have had several different Tiger Wood games and I like the fact that the courses are so very close to the real thing it makes you think that you are playing the exact course.Read full review...
Good game, Fun, but could be better
The Pros: The game has excellent graphics and sound. It is fun to play.
The Cons: (1) Putting is very difficult. The game doesn't allow you to put to a specific spot where the ball would stop if the ground was level (like in previous versions). Instead your putting target moves in increments (anywere from ~3 to 10 ft) and you must increase or decrease how hard you strike the ball to get the ball to roll the correct distance.
(2) There are not many courses. You end up playing the same several courses over and over. Especially if you do the PGA tour and the Tiger challenge at the same time.
Despite the couple of cons, it is still fun to play and I would recommend it. (Plus what choice do you have if you want a good golf video game?)Read full review...
Amazing!
There are new courses and bigger crowds in this version, but what makes it better is how much more challenging it is. You can play according to your skill level by setting it to easy, balanced (default), hard or pro tour. The biggest differences that make it so challenging are: - Can't switch the swing stick to the right analog anymore...stuck with the left one.
- Your aim gives you a very WIDE circle of where the ball will land, not a pinpoint like previously. So if you are pitching onto the green, your landing area might cover the whole green!
- Putting is extremely difficult and the controller is super sensitive. I missed quite a few 2 footers with a small break...no gimmies here!
- The fairways and rough play a lot like a real course...much more realistic than beforeRead full review...
Tigerless server
For those of you that are looking for a fun, competitive game, Tiger Woods '07 is a good choice for you. The formats for building up your player is fun and entertaining. The biggest downfall of this game is the server system it is on. Numerous times several people I know get kicked of the server for unknown reasons, or we get "reestablishing connection" messages. This can be extremely frustrating. The server appears to be inadequate for what it was designed for. But for those games you can complete, they are competitive and the graphics are realistic. I have personally played Pebble Beach and Aviara, along with Torrey Pines (not on this version), and found the games accurate right down to the placement of the trees and shrubs!!!Read full review...
Best in series

I also like the training area that allows you to improve your skills through different challenges. It allows you more control over what you need improvement on and let's you be more competitive. All in all, I would highly recommend this if you are a fan of any previous TW games.Read full review...
Tiger Woods isn't very fun
I read the reviews before posting this one and I saw a lot of "Putting is too hard". I found the putting to be WAY TOO EASY. Unless you play on Tour difficulty (the highest), then the game shows a grid on the green of where the breaks are and how steep they are. (Without the grid, it's impossible, but with the grid it's too easy.) I found myself 1 putting almost every single time, even from 30, 45, even 65+ feet away. However, on some holes if the pin location is on a hard slope, putting can be quite annoying. For the most part, putting is too easy.
Also, one of the main game modes "Tiger Challenge", is bad. You go through a series of 5 player brackets until you meet Tiger in a 1 on 1 match. These players you have to play are horrible. The first three players in each bracket are so bad that you only have to shoot par to beat them. It is kind of fun to play these people because each one has a special attribute that you get when you are done, such as "Ball striking skill". The computer opponent will have ok driving ability, great iron shots, and poor putting shots.

One of the best Tiger Woods Games - not perfect
First, let's talk about golf. Golf is a game about beauty, power, style and feel. This game lets you pretty much sense most of this without the wind in your hair. The graphics are gorgeous, the players look life-like, but still robotic, however this is the best attempt EA has had. The golf courses are spectacular and absolutely beautiful in HD. You feel a sense of power as you move up the ranks and your golf play gets better and better. There is also a learning curve, just like golf where you get better with practice.
There are still some issues. Some of the player animations don't make sense like a short putt and the player has a full swing follow through at the end of the animation. Putting still looks weird and the players overputt for the speed the ball moves. Still, very entertaining game, very nice graphics.Read full review...
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 (Xbox 360)
The game is much different than the early days but I am adapting. Putting has changed dramatically and ball striking is quite a bit different at first. There are a lot of options that are complicated pre-swing and the sounds of the woods are "thuddy". I bought the game because I missed playing it from years back on the Xbox.Read full review...
Fantastic Game! A must have!
OK...with last years Tiger Woods PGA tour '06, I don't know about you but I was very very disappointed. This year they made up for it a good bit! There are still only 12 courses (compared to 22 or so on PS2 and normal xbox) but how many courses do you really need to make the game fun...12 is plenty in my opinion. Maybe they'll come up with more courses for next year, but for now, I'm happy.
The graphics are amazing! Unlike last years game, the swing and motions are not choppy. They are smooth and provide for great and amusing gameplay! There is online competition to play against as well as great scorekeeping tools, as always.
This is a must have for any xbox 360 owner! Especially if you have enjoyed Tiger Woods titles in the past!Read full review...
Great Game
I would give it an excellent rating but the game is now out-dated because of Tiger 08. But if you don't want to spend the money on the new one. Go with this one. It has great graphics and the game play is great. I love playing it with a friends at home or hitting the LIVE and playing with someone clear across the globe.
