Best watch ever

This watch has it all. It is waterproof for swimming OR showers. I time things all of the time to make my life easier to stay on track. This watch has FIVE alarms to also help me remember important things without me having to keep whatever it is forefront in my mind. It has a chronograph timer. The display is EASY to read in the daylight but also the indiglo feature helps to light things up in the darkness. Price is VERY reasonable. Suites my needs

I've had the model watch now for about the last 15 years as it has proven to meet my needs with features such as being waterproof, durable, lite, comfortable, easy to use in the dark and reasonably priced. The features I commonly use are the multiple alarms, the countdown timer and the twin time zones—all theses features can now be replaced by a smartphone but I've grown accustomed to have them on my wrist whenever I need them.

I've replaced a number of wrist straps, batteries and I'm now onto my third watch, although my last watch only really needed a battery replacement but given the low purchase price I decided to buy another new watch and keep my old one as a spare.

A solid watch!

Third Time Around

This is the third time I have purchased this watch. I wear them until the plastic ring on the front is worn off and the screen is scratched until you can hardly read the time. The term takes a beating and keeps on ticking definitely applies to this timex. I like the water resistance, the 100 lap workout storage, and the 5 alarms. I use the alarms like a day planner each day for meeting reminders and I keep workout times for a month. The light lets you see the time and the five buttons make setting and selecting features as simple as possible. The numbers on the watch are easy to read. The OTHER watch I own is a different timex that is very similar except it has heart rate with a chest strap. After wearing watches for the past 40 years and trying a few others, I have purchased this watch for the third time and I still have the second one that I wear for joyous occasions such as working under the hood of a car. Ironman is MY choice for an Everyday Watch...

I purchased this Timex Ironman to replace the last Ironman I have had for over 5 years. The old Ironman was scratched, bashed and abused as I work in construction as an Electrical High Line Lineman. I climb 35' and higher wood poles for a living.

The thing I liked about this watch was it's durability. It really took a beating and kept on working for a long time. I scratched the watch face around the beginning of year 2 and was ready to get a new watch then but wouldn'd throw this one away because of it's toughness. The second thing I liked about this watch was that the alarm was loud enough to wake me out of a deep sleep so I used it for my primary alarm. Wife didn't seem to hear it go off so she was happy too!! It kept really good time and had 3 alarms so I could set one for weekdays, one for weekends and have a third one for miscellaneous times like my quarterly-annual afternoon nap I was able to take...

I have owned a Casio G-Shock for 20+ years and still own one today that I don't wear. The alarm is too quiet to wake me and it just doesn't feel as "solid" as my Ironman. It was a very hard switch when I got my first Ironman but circumstances were that I couldn't find a G-Shock when the last one gave up the ghost... Fortunately for me, i gave the Ironman a try and won't be switching back. Like I said, I have a G-Shock in the drawer of my nightstand and it's happy there. This watch is slightly different from most Ironman models. The lettering is larger making is easier to read. Has a couple of alarms for setting in addition to to appointment scheduling alarm. Will log workouts by date. Great dependable watch!Read full review...
