Receiver/Hitch Keyed Master Lock

The lock itself is of great quality as Master Lock delivers. However, the rubber dust cover is far less superior. It doesn't grip tight and easily vibrates off. Off roading your truck in water, dirt and mud can clog and severely damage your lock cylinder rendering your key useless to remove the hitch lock. It's ideal for permanent installations if you're into that and not changing receivers or covers. If you are like me and need that versatility, remove the rubber cover and put a bag and rubber band over it and call it a day. It'll save you a call to the locksmith and a lock.Read full review

Lock is to short to work on any factory installed Toyota truck hitch.

I found out why they are so cheap. They aren't long enough to work with most factory installed hitches that have a steel wrapped around the receiver. You can get the pin through it but you can't get the lock on it. It's basically useless. Looks nice but don't waste your money unless your receiver is sticking out with no support. Now I know why they were buy on get one free. Wasn't worth the time or money to return. Ended up dropping both off at a local Goodwill.Read full review

Good value as a hitch lock. Would of been better if I could of had matching keys when I ordered two. However, compared to other similarly priced locking hitch pins, I believe this SS version is the one to buy. The right angle key system was particularly useful for my application.Read full review
