A solid FPS for Xbox but no campaign

Although this is about three years old it still is one off my favorite games with attrition, capture the flag, marked for death and more... but wait, where's the campaign? That's the problem. This game is a great FPS and is so much fun to play online. My personal favorite is private match to play with friends online, and capture the flag. But would have loved for there to be a campaign. So so game

This game looks good but game play lasts just a little while before you get bored with it. There is no campaign and no story and the multiplayer is just the same old team v team play. A few times and you are ready to move on to something else. There is no dual screen co-op so you can only play online co-op which is not as fun. Sure you could buy two consoles but really, why? Great game now with all expansions free.

This game is still fairly new and has a large online player population. However as it wasn't quiet the hit they expected the market was flooded with product and its so cheap now to pick up a copy. I wouldn't worry about buying expansion packs as they are all free now!!(online download).

This game is basically a online focused fast paced version of mechwarrior.

Cons:
NO local multiplayer (splitscreen).
Campaign is basically a normal map selection with a small amount of scripted conversation before the online match begins.Read full review...

Fun!! No single player, easy to learn hard to master. Very good game!!

I have owned this for a few months and it is wonderful. This lives up to the hype. If you like call of duty this is a fun game. If you don't like call of duty this is still fun. Great balance and game engine, lots of replay value. There is no single player mode, so that is the only downside, you always have to play against other humans. The graphics are good not great, but there is a patch coming to make it better. Controls are very good and accurate. You will get hours of fun out of this beauty. My only other gripe is how random the game is. You can be really great in 5 matches, and be the worst in others so you never know if you are really good or not.Read full review...

Better than Titanfall 2

I didn't get a chance to play this game when it first came but I'm glad I do now. This game seems more like a real war with realistic locations. I enjoy how you can customize everything about your Titan. Check this game out. It's lots of fun. Read full review...

Only mode of gamplay is online multiplayer.

Awesome game and a must own for any fan of the shooter genre!

Giant fighting robots, pilots that are as nimble as Jet Li, and guns that go boom -- what more do you need? Titanfall is one of the best first person shooters for Xbox One to date! It plays a lot like Call of Duty but instead of characters that control like robots you get to control Pilots that can run on walls and double jump like your favorite martial artists!

With these character changes the action becomes hectic and sometimes so overwhelming that your pulse will be racing and adrenaline pumping. From the first time you rodeo a Titan or the fiftieth time you rip out a pilot from its Titan, you will never get bored with the intensity of this game. The graphics are stellar and the frame rate stays consistent even when the action on screen is anything but insane.

The level design and overall gameplay mechanics work so well that it really is a true showing of current generation gaming philosophies that breaks away from a lot of the paradigms that have plagued this genre in the past. It's a completely unique experience that will make you want to play more and more.

The only two pitfalls with this game is there is no single player campaign that introduces you to the story arc or world. The entire game is played only online with other players which may turn off a lot of players but even with this disadvantage you won't find much to complain about once you take charge in your first battle. The other pitfall -- weapon customization is lacking as well as total amount of weapons. While I wish there were more weapons to choose from, all of the weapons are so well balanced that it makes up for the lack of selection. Whether your using a shotgun or a pistol or your a pilot with a Sidewinder trying to take down a Titan, it's all so well balanced that you never really truly feel that any one player is at a better advantage. Which in it of itself, is amazing, considering that the Titans are huge!

Extremely fun game. The multiplayer campaign mode is very innovative & fun!

Bought this game because I wanted a change from Call of Duty and a change is what I got. This game is extremely fun and I love the innovative multiplayer campaign mode on the game. People complain saying the game is online only but come on, if you have a xbox one you're always online anyways with it. This game is one that needs to be added to your collection if you don't already have it. I give it two thumbs up ! And the graphics are superb. Overall just great game.Read full review...

Its good, but just not for me

Sure its got what most people want. I personally am not a fan of the super fast competitive action that happens with online gaming. I am 35 and cannot compete with the 12-15 year olds with lightning fast gaming thumbs.Read full review...
