It was a long time waiting for the end of this film as I watched hoping it would get better. I'm sorry I wasted my time viewing this poorly directed spew of poor talent. A few of the actors had good potential (the captain, the first mate, and the pretty young lady visiting from a second ship, but without a well written script, what were they to do? I have seen many films and have a high tolerence for what might be called entertainment. This was not that. Don't waste your money buying this dribble. If you must, just rent it.Read full review...

I thought it might be like the Hornblower series that PBS aired but it certainly wasn't! My husband and I didn't care for it at all. Found it distasteful. An excellent series which brings to life the Age of sail and the gruesome journeys that had to made to far off Australia.
