It has Nastassja Kinski in it. I love that now I have Nastassja Kinski in her beautiful nude body in both "To the Devil A Daughter" & "Cat People". Though in my opinion, she looks much prettier with the long hair, rather than the very short hair in 'Cat People'. Very happy.Read full review...

To The Devil...Hammer's Final Horror Film

Had been looking around for this & other Hammer films for a while. Hammer was a British film company that made many horror and action films, many regarded as classics. I was happy to find out Anchor Bay had purchased the rights to many of the old Hammer horror films from the 50's, 60's, & 70's. Including this one, which turned out to be Hammer's final horror film, even though it did well at the box office. It is the story of a young nun (Nastassja Kinski)who belongs to a very off beat religion run by an ex-communicated priest (Cristopher Lee). Richard Widmark plays an occult writer who tries to save the young nun at the request of her father. All cast members give great performances, though the ending could have been done a bit better. If I tell much more it will spoil the suprise of the film, 4 out of 5 stars.Read full review...

Masterpiece

This is the very last film Christopher Lee played in for Hammer Films Productions. It is actually the last film Hammer Films put out.
So it is a collectors item.

Spaghetti Horror Movie?

I hadn't seen this movie before I purchased it, nor had I heard of it, but I am a big fan of Christopher Lee, so I picked it up on ebay. When the movie began, the dubbed voices threw me for a minute, but I was able to get into it once I got passed it. A little S&M mixed with a chilling story ending with a great twist. I liked the movie, but I can't figure out how some actors can be speaking English and others speaking Italian and having everything work out - but it did. Give it a try - Mr. Lee won't disapoint you, and neither will the story.Read full review...

the end of a great run...

One of Christopher Lee's best Hammer horror films. To The Devil A Daughter also was Lee's LAST Hammer film. Mood, locations, characters, acting and plot all are PERFECT in this movie.

Could have had a better title.

Not a very good movie, even though the cast was excellent. The highlight of the movie was the the nude scene with Miss Kinski.
