'Good' Average Handheld Game

This is an 'average' game with a 'good' rating. Many familiar with the franchise will be familiar with the high-scoring tricks like manuals and grind combinations, which are one of the most easily-executed and feature moves of this game. It is a top-down perspective which may look a little crumby on screenshots, but plays surprisingly smoothly.

The levels are monotonous and senseless and do not really pick up the same city-feel as the console versions, which holds this game back a bit. The Jackass cast that it uses (similar to NHLPA games using big name players in their games) are corny, but funny to see how they were used ~10 years ago.

I give this game a good rating because of its pick-up-and play value - easily used for 2 minutes of instant fun - which is a key feature in a handheld.Read full review...

Great for what it is

Exactly what I expected from this game. Graphics are good, and it is easy to use. Bought for my 2 and 3 year olds Gameboy Advances. Very durrable, since they like to throw things across the room! My 9 year old daughter can also put it in her DS.Read full review...

Tony Hawk's Underground (GBA)

I purchased this game for my son for his birthday. He says, "It's way better than the graphics on Tony Hawk's Underground 2. The missions/challenges are fun and easy, with the exception of a few that seem impossible to beat. There are plenty of challenges to complete. Some of the missions seem pretty realistic. I liked the game overall. I think that the tony hawk's games are awesome!!! I like the way that tony hawk does some action moves throughout the games. I opwn the tony hawk's proskater#4 is also awesome to play. both games are excellent to play. will look for future game boy just like this one to purchase.Read full review...

Fun Game

My boys have enjoyed this game. I bought the game because they like the Game Cube version and I thought they would enjoy this one as well. I also liked the great price I got.

Good game if your kid loves skateboarding games!

Bought this for my son. He says it is just o.k. I thought he would like it cause he likes to skate board all the time. But he likes the shoot em up bang bang games better!

Kids love it - who doesn't like Tony Hawk? Has all the fun of the full game on the large gaming systems but only cost a fraction of the price. Keeps the kids busy for hours. Just another great game in the tony hawk series.Read full review...
