I like this pump. It's sturdy and stays upright when I'm using it thanks to the foot holds on the base. The lever to lock the pump to the tire nozzle does lock rather tough but I've had no problems pumping air into numerous tires. I use a schrader adapter for my presta valves for fear of snapping the stem off. So I simply use the Schrader side for everything. Glad I bought it. Got Air? Pump is fast and efficient.

Got this for the GF's old Schwinn bicycle tires so I would not have to use the noisy air compressor.

Topeak Joe blow- great pump

After about 18 years with my old Joe Blow, the head finally went. The newer model replaces the steel base with a plastic one, but still uses a steel barrel, and a better design head though the steel locking lever is now plastic. Hopefully, it will last as long as the original. It pumps easily, and I like the plastic indicator showing the pressure.Read full review...

Tough clamp

Everything about this pump is tough and should last quite a while. Everything seems quite durable but the clamp arm that grabs the bike tube nozzle is very tough to clasp to the tube unlike my first Joe blow pump I purchased several years ago. This pump we are speaking about was purchased for my younger sisters family and I hope they are strong enough to use the clasp. Great pump for the price

This pump is a huge improvement over my previous pump. Works more easily, smoother and seems to move a greater volume of air more effortlessly. My old pump was schraeder only and this pump with a valve that works with both purest as well as schraeder valve stems speeds my getting on the bike since I don't have screw on a presto adapter.
