Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (Microsoft Xbox 360, 2012)

A vast improvement over it's prequel in nearly every way. 9/10

The Writer must inform the reader of this review that The Writer is a massive Transformer fan but will do their best to be unbaised as possible, now onto the review; The Combat; a vast improvement over the prequel War For Cybertron, enemies will take cover and flank now which makes for difficult but very rewarding combat. There are brand new weapons now as well, The Writer's favorite weapons are the scrap maker and the glass cannon. The Writer has called in airstrikes in other games, The Player marks a locations, then seconds later a big explosion, in this game you get to watch as a massive thousand story tall transformers marches into the battlefield, call in an airstrike and The Player get's the unmatched joy of watching as the cannons on said thousand story tall Transformers shoulders launch a salvo of cannon fire that streaks across the skys of cybertron to pummel any hapless grunts you targeted with said aistrike. The Graphics; A vast Improvement over War For Cybertron; everything was just different shades of metallic grays, now however you've got rusts, blues, oranges, yellows, greens, and a whole plethora of other metallic colors like bronze and copper. Even the transformations have been given an upgrade. There are also more collectables now that add in lore or are just plain fun; The Writer's favorite was a little switch that when activated turned into a dancing transformer. The plot; The Player starts off right after the events of War For Cybertron have concluded, Cybertron has gone dark to begin the process of healing from being infected with dark energon, the Autobots still on cybertron have finished construction of their Ark but it doesn't have enough fuel, so they must find some or be stranded and eventually offline. The Decepticons have a whole lake of Fuel that the Decepticon mad scientist Shockwave has been using for his experiments. The Autobots decide to steal the fuel from the mad scientist, and nearly succeed, but plans rarely go as intended. The Decepticons launch a counterattack and in the ensueing battle the fuel goes up in flames. The lord of the Decepticons Megatron launches a full offensive against the Autobots in their last stronghold. The Soundtrack; in a word: Excellent, The Writer's personal favorite OSTs were "The Touch remix", "The Touch" or "Leaper Ambush". In fact now that The Writer thinks about it, the only thing that The Writer did not enjoy was the distinct lack of Co-operative play. all in all an extremely solid videogame.Read full review

Best Transformer game ever made to date

Many will agree. I hope they make a sequel. Multiplayer and Escalation online modes are addicting. Campaigns are great fun and only leaves you wanting more when you finish.

Great game with nice plotline

The graphics are really good and the story is nice how it ties in with War for Cybertron. I also like the variety of weapons the you can choose in the game. Overall, I'm glad I got this!
