Fast paced story with some humor injected, lots of drama, nothing really scary for young ones (the news is worse) and yes, there is violence. Lots of it. But it is that good vs evil and good will win kind of violence, not the slash and hack violence of most movies nowadays. My kids grew up with Transformers when they were very young and I have to admit, I even enjoyed playing with them when they got the transformer out and when I could get them to share. Great movie for all ages!

I was a little worried about watching this with my five year old...but we ended up watching it as a family and we all enjoyed it immensely. There were only a few choice words in it, that gave it its rating I guess. We all were on the edge of our seats the whole time. This is action packed....little slow at first but after that its a hold on to your hats movie!My 10 yr old daughter loved it too..great movie for the whole family. I loved every second of this movie

I remember watching the cartoons and the cartoon movies growing up and this movie did not disappoint. shia labeouf and megan fox will become stars because of this movie. I stood up and screamed in the movie theatre when optimus prime was transforming and I heard that voice again for the first time in about 10 years. I stood in line and got the DVD the first day it was available.

Mind Numbing Propaganda

I know everyone will disagree with me on this one - but this movie was damn near unbearable. It felt like a two plus hour commercial for the Army - aimed at your 8 year old to make him think blowing stuff up is cool. After about a dozen slow mo scenes of soldiers running in front of explosion while sappy music blares I started feeling like I was being brainwashed. The plot is a joke that was probably lifted right out of one of the old cartoons and most of the acting is annoying at best.
Over-rated mind numbing fluff.

Transformers Movie 2007

All I can really say about this movie is that it was AMAZING!
I really enjoyed it and it was action packed, a MUST-SEE for all ages.
Loads of special effects that'll knock your socks off.r>Bumble bee was my favorite. I can't wait to see the next one, I'm excited.
I recommend buying it for your kids, or anyone you'd think would enjoy it... it would make a awesome Christmas or birthday gift for sure.

Just topped my #1 movie of all time!!!

I just turned 30 which put the transformer era at the right age of my childhood. To see it brought out on video with the technology today brought back all those childhood memories. I've even bought some of the toys myself to keep unopened. My son loves it to, he is five. It's like passing a tradition of my childhood to him, something that brings father and son closer. Transformers are all he wants for christmas. I just hope it comes to Blu-Ray!!!!!!Read full review...
