Easy to Change SSD, but NO Cooling.

Good product. Easy to open and change the SSDs. As fast as any enclosure I've yet discovered.

Only real design flaw is cooling. For SSDs that run hot, this box will be useless. The entire enclosure is made of cheap plastic which is a thermal insulator. (many other products are made of heat conducting aluminum). If they weren't going to use metal, they should have at least allowed some airholes for heat dissipation.Read full review...

Good value, some questions on long term durability

An attractive external enclosure for 2.5" HDD/SSD. Comes with a nice, thick USB 3.1 Type C cable to Type A. My only concern is the long term durability, specially if you travel it it. The plastics don't seem of the best quality, and there's no secure mechanism holding the top and bottom covers, it's just a plastic tab.

Drive doesn't move in the closure, enclosure is well built for the price and I recommend this product.

Product arrived without a dent and in it's promised condition. Setting it up is as easy as putting a USB in place. The enclosure also has padding on the sides to keep the drive from sliding sideways. The cable that came along is as described.

Great little enclosure for fast ssd

Put a samsung 860 evo drive in it, plugged it into a usb3.1 gen2 card , and getting near max speed ~530. I was using another usb adapter (3.1 gen 1) and it was throttling the speed to ~430 range. So worth it for me to upgrade, as I had the hardware for it.

Also easy to install the disk, slide the case open, put the ssd in and slide it closed. Couldn't be simpler. Overall a good product.Read full review...

Not usb-c

Case has USB-c, yeas. But cable that comes with is USB-c to old USB so doesn't really help when you want to by USB-c hard drive for example for new mackbook.
