Once you learn it's issues....
Excellent radio. Both this radio and its digital "big brother......the Uniden/Bearcat BCD996P2" are fantastic radios. Signal quality, features, selectivity are all excellent. Buy them while prices are this low. They're state-of-the-art in available radio. Not super easy to program but you don't need a genius-level IQ to figure them out. Heavy duty design but....
Very nice scanner but extremely confusing to program and operate. I have a Realistic 800 mhz trucking scanner that is simple to program with the manual. I didn't have a manual with this purchase but I downloaded it online. Waste of time, youtube was more informative than the actual manual. It puts in talk group codes on its own, even though you didn't program them in.Read full review

Althogh it may be difficult at first it's great scanner.

Uniden BCT15X Trunk Tracker lll
Scanner is hard to set up. No paper owners manual. Comes with a disc. I'm sure once we get it going, Uniden always seems to be high quality.

Uniden Bearcat BCT15X
This bearcat operates as designed. No damages & delivered on time. Easy set up, am going to have much listening enjoyment of this unit. Can’t wait to try it in the vehicle. Will be testing the GPS feature and among others. Pretty compact for it’s size. At most times some scanners come bigger. However this bearcat is a space saver as well.
My friends asking questions and they like what they see. So to all out watching I say hurry and get one because these units will be going fast.
