No voicemail

The system isn't too hard to set up, although the prompts are not very good. The only way to have voicemail is through your land line service provider. I do have that option with my service provider. However, It is practically impossible to program the system using the minimal instruction "book" that is included.
One thing the book is adamant about is to call their help line before returning the product. When you call the number, you are told to go on line and find out how to connect your voicemail. When you go on line to their support section, the model number of this product isn't there.
The system itself would be okay if you could go without the answering service option.
This is the 21st century and in my opinion, technology is regressing. Phone systems used to be much easier to set up and have all the necessary items. Now they are overly optioned, they can do all kinds of things...hook up to your cell phone, program your directory etc. They probably can turn your dishwasher on when you're lying on the beach in Tahiti, but they don't do ALL of these things consistently well. Hard to beat this quality for this low price.

Looked for a lower priced telephone unit with multiple hand sets.
This company had many units to chose from at a very good offer.
Just two negatives: the instruction booklet is somewhat vague for
programing a list of favorable phone numbers..the other negative one has to get used to is that the phone hesitates a few seconds
on answering or hearing a callers voice. Both of these negatives
are not the magnitude that I would hesitate to buy the product again. Super buy and swift delivery service from this supplier.

Not bad for the money but could be better

Handsets are quirky. Flashing red light on them as though you have a recorded message. Seems like several other people have the same issue. Recommended fixes don't work. Sound quality could be better. some of the handsets can't adjust the volume of the ring or the other person's voice. On the plus side, numbers are large so easy to see to dial.Read full review...

Fantastic product for the money!!!!

I buy Uniden because it's a product I trust. They consistently improve their phones. This phone impressed me from the moment I plugged it in! I was able to blue-tooth my cellphone numbers wirelessly over to it! How cool is that!? That's why I bought it! The down side is that I can't scroll down easily like I can IN my cellphone. Love the fact that the answering machine is easier in this one, and so is the caller ID. The speaker phone is on the handset instead of on the base - could be a plus or minus for some people - I like it because then I can take it with me wherever I am and set it down as opposed to holding it up to my head all the time. I do wish they offered a clip for the phones so I could take them outside with me. But overall these phones work very well, no interference from anywhere. Speakers work incredibly well.
