Small but powerful, easy to use in the wooded mountains
I purchased 2 of these hand helds, one for myself & one for my neighbor. We are both retired and live 1/2 mile back a dead end dirt road in a holler surrounded by 4 mountains & we venture up into the woods quite often. We like the radios because they are small, and the antennas can be removed to attach a mag mount while in the side by side or used as a base station with a CB antenna outside on the roof. The radios are durable & the batterires last a fairly long time. We will be getting ni-cads for them this spring, another nice plus, As much as we use them, we haven't found anything bad about them. Nice product.Read full review...

Returned
I just used it about 2 weeks and my coworkers can’t hear me from 30 ft away. After that , battery power does not work. I’m waiting for a replacement. Next time I’m going with a cobra 🐍 brand. UNHAPPY 😞.Read full review...

Andy
Just got it in the mail today. So far good. Wish I could say the same for my bear cat in my truck. Think my Mic went bad sounds crystal clear talking through the hand held to my cb in the truck but talking back nothing but static. On the bear cat end. Happy with the hand held. Not as huge as I though it was gonna be and it's mobile. Hopefully it has a decent range. Bout 10" tall with the antenna. Feels pretty sturdy too. Doesn't feel cheap. And when the batteries are in it. 9 AA batteries have some weight. Just wish it came with a belt clip. That's extra is what the book says. Most likely will buy another after a good test goes through with this one. Read full review...

decent handheld
A good basic handheld CB to start out. Priced accordingly. With an upgraded telescoping antenna I can reach a fair distance and with a BNC-to-PL259 adaptor (for an antenna) I can install it as a makeshift mobile rig.Read full review...

Low range
The clip is poor quality and the range is not very good even when switched to 4 watts. I got these to use in conjunction with the CB in my car. They receive at a decent distance but don't transmit very far. I have some small cheap radios that I got for $4 each that are much better than the Unidens for $50 each.Read full review...

Great CB radio!
This handheld cb radio works great!
You can use it with a cigarette lighter plug that comes with it or you can put 9 AA batteries in it and use it almost anywhere!

Nice but weak
This is a well made product but too weak for many general uses. If you are using these between vehicles or on a business property they would probably be fine.
