AWESOME edition to Billy Idol Collection!

Steve and Billy are terrific on this DVD -- if it’s possible, I think they sound better and look better than they did 30 years ago. Billy explains how songs were made and talks about different phases of his life. As in his concerts, Billy is quick to let Steve display his talents (at 1 point, Steve plays the guitar with his face). I don’t know if other reviewers caught it or not but when Steve is explaining how a song originated, he calls Billy “Bill” which I thought was sweet. The DVD puts a human face to Billy and gosh, it just made me think I’ll bet Billy would be a great guy to hang around. Two things I didn’t like: The DVD appears to be cut into pieces, i.e., … one minute you see the drummer, the next you don’t, but you never see him leave. Same with the female background singer (Stella Soleil) who I thought can’t sing worth $iht anyway so it was a pleasure to see her leave. This leaves me to the second thing I didn’t like: Of all the singers in the world, why would they choose Stella? Perhaps she is good with her own group, Dirty Little Rabbits, but on this DVD, she is just as bad as Lisa Marie Presley was when she sang White Wedding with Billy (but that's another review ;-).Read full review...

Billy Idol - a great storyteller!

This is a DVD that isn't in production any longer and is basically impossible to find in the stores. My husband is a big Billy Idol fan and finding this DVD on ebay was like winning the lotto! It contains Billy's biggest hits and the best part is that he tells the story of each song. It's very entertaining and lots of fun!Read full review...

Billy Idol DVD

Thanks for the Billy Idol DVD. I have not had a chance to watch it yet but it came pretty quick and was shrink wrapped like new. I hope this covers everything I am supposed to say. I am a huge Billy Idol fan and looking forward to watching it soon.
