This is the one to have.
This is the portable air compressor to have. Mine was a replacement for a much slower compressor. I have to air up front tires on a 75 hp tractor about twice a month. This air compressor amazed me on how fast it is. The head gets to hot to touch, must let it cool down before you store it. I also went with a larger bag. My bag has pockets on the sides, and plenty of room for the compressor and some rags alone with gloves. Bag is listed below.

Great little machine!
Bought this for my Ram truck. The high pressure tires are always needing air. They require 80 psi, so it does take some time to fill. Compressors that run from cigarette lighter take forever to top them off. But this one runs directly from the battery where there is full power. The hose and cables are long enough to plug in to one battery (there are two) and fill all four tires without moving to the other battery. The unit does get hot. So be careful not to get burned. Great compressor
I bought one of these to keep in my car and have used a couple times and it feels and sounds good. This thing is pretty fast on a car tire and has been so handy to have. I keep a tire plug kit and a pliers for pulling nails in the car too so flats are a big deal if you fix them in time. I liked it so much I ordered another one for my wife's birthday. It clamps on the battery which you need if your going to run any kind of a compressor that you won't have to run for eons to get your tire pumped up. Read full review...

Quality in a small package
I have used Viair compressors for off roading for years and never had one fail. When I go off road I let my tires down to 18 lbs. and when I get back to the highway I air them up to 35 lbs the compressor will get very warm but after many uses it has neve failed. Fast fill!
Bought 2, one for a corolla and another a 4Runner. I’m impressed at how fast and quiet this thing can fill up these tires. I had a trailer tire I replaced a valve stem on. After popping the beads back on, I decided to test this little thing and it brought it from about 20 psi to 50 psi in probably 2 minutes if not less. Sturdy, compact, quiet.
Very nice machine. On a 15 inch car tire it adds about one PSI every five seconds. Much quieter than other models, and very compact. The pressure gauge is completely useless. Mine will indicate between 0 and 12 PSI on a fully inflated tire. I have found it often easier to carry a pliers, and tire plug kit and repair a puncture on the spot, rather than change the tire.
