All you need to plan an elegant wedding!

You name it, this book covers it (and in the most elegant way). Vera Wang is the authority on tasteful weddings and every wedding detail she preaches is pure gospel. This is not just about the dress, although she does cover every imaginable aspect of what to wear from the neckline to the best bra for your body type.

But she covers much more.

"The time of day always determines the choice of dress and the style of the wedding," Wang tells us in the opening pages.

"The hairstyle needs to be determined before a veil or hairpiece is selected," she advises on page 216. "Tall brides should avoid tall hairdos."

On children, she feels, "The neckline of a flower girl's dress should always be modest."

On China, she says, "Less formal China is always appropriate for an outdoor wedding."

I love this book because Wang isn't wishy-washy on what's best. Many books I bought gave me so many options that it just left my head spinning. If you want an elegant, classy wedding, this book tells it like it is.

In addition, I still own this book two years after my wedding because the pictures are exquisite and make it a wonderful coffee table book.

I originally had no fewer than seven books on weddings. This is the only one I've kept. It's the only one you'll need.Read full review...

The ultimate wedding guide. It is a great start when you first become engaged to get ideas for your "perfect" wedding. A must-have guide for small and large weddings. I first saw the book (rather large and looks great on the coffee table) when one of my married daughters brought it over for her youngest sister that had recently became engaged. I hated to return it to the library and bought this one on eBay to save for future reference. Vera Wang - the name/author/experienc in weddings. This is definitely someone who has done/helped/planned/made tons of celebrity weddings and gowns. Someone i look up upon to in order to be a successful wedding party planner, or even advising on gowns. My granddaughter loved it!

The book is lovely and in excellent condition, just like new! It was a birthday gift for my granddaughter, a freshman in highschool. She plans to be a designer and Vera Wang is her favorite. I am still not done looking through it, however, from what I have read I love the book. Vera Wang gives detailed, helpful advice for brides like me, and there are beautiful photos throughout the book.
