Give refurbished products a try
This is my 3rd Worx trimmer. first refurbished one. There was no previous visible usage. I use the batteries from my first and second one as backup
I have purchased my refurbished items and they have preformed well. I recommend anyone to try these items.

Very disappointed with these battery operated items. They battery is drained less than 10 minutes after getting started.
These are battery operated items and with two batteries, I am only able to use the products for a total of 15 minutes. Then you have to recharge the batteries which takes at least 4 hours to fully charge, for another 15 minutes of usage. And when I reported this to the manufacturer, they matter of factly replied, yes, that is correct amount of usage you should be receiving for that particular voltage of battery. I believe that perhaps such a limitation should be included in the description, so that I would not have wasted any time or effort in purchasing these items in the first place. Read full review...

Great trimmer, edger and blower for the money.
This is exactly what I was looking for to replace my 20 vlt Black & Decker trimmer and blower. The trimmer is also an excellent edger and I was looking for an edger that had a wheel guide for very clean edging (Many of the trimmers on the market today do not have a wheel quide).The sturdiness and design is very good. My only negative is that the string advance is a bit awkward and the spool itself is small. The kit comes with an extra spool. I have not used it long enough to determine how often I will need to replace spools but I surmise that this might be the biggest negative to the trimmer. The variable output blower is very satisfactory and is lighweight and well balanced in the hand. The short battery life of the 20 vlt system is something to consider but I am able to use the blower for my driveway, sidewalks, deck and patio before requiring a charge. If you want the system for a lot of leaf blowing then the 40 vlt system is something you might want to consider. For the typical home this kit is perfectly adequate however. Read full review...

I think this set is the best value on the internet for someone who has to care for their own small .25 ac to medium large .6 ac yard. But, you will need an additional battery if you plan on edging and blowing in the same work session because the blower uses one up quickly (abt 15mins) and they take a few hours to charge.
