Worth the watch

I have read the graphic novel that spurned this movie adaptation. Naturally, there are some deviations from the true story but I feel they don't hurt this production much. The character of Wesley may either have been miscast or misrepresented as there is a very unsettling feel about him. But Jolie is, as always, catty, confident, and oozing with sexual prowess. There is a scene close to the end(her right eye)that more resembles the true character of 'the Fox'. The action is pretty much nonstop with a few tricks I've never seen before. The editing and settings have that fast paced and stylistic feel that all comic noir movies contain to separate them from the real world. The gore appears to be more of the "visual" type than "horror" type, but there are some tragic innocent casualties that get caught in the war. I think anyone who enjoys revenge and redemption based stories will enjoy this one as it unfolds. I gotta suggest reading the graphic novel(about 48 pages)prior to watching the film. *~*~ An A-OK Movie - - - A Decent Rental ~*~*

We couldnt wait to watch WANTED based on the Acting Cast, the Trailers, and the Action, but it turned out to be a little less than we had expected.

The beginning starts out kind of slow, but picks up as you get into the movie.

Interesting, yet dry at spots, but held our attention throughout. Some of the special effects in some of the scenes were a little overboard and unrealistic, but all in all the special effects were good. A decent amount of action.

We feel this film had a little more potential and couldve been easily reached.

This is the type of film that you may have to watch a few times to get a true understanding of what is going on and what has happened.

Our Overall Rating: 6 out of 10 (AVERAGE)

Wanted

The action in this movie is great,but the whole plot line is just stupid.Assasins getting their orders from a cosmic loom . "Yea right". The actors are great,the action is great mixed with some humor,but just a little too much violence for my taste.I really don't need to see peoples heads exploding when they get shot ! I bought this movie because I had seen previews,and thought it looked pretty good,but I was disapointed,as it most defintely could have been done better,and not had such a ridiculous plot.
