Exactly what I was looking for

I do a lot of posters and minor artwork for church projects and programs. This book is perfect for that. I am no artist, but it makes me look like I am. I have even used pictures from this book to paint onto flower pots. It gives you directions for drawing different poses and motions, too. This book is not only an excellent art teacher, it is fun just to sit and look at pictures of those great cartoon characters. If you like words in your picture book, it also has great stories of the creators of the animation and its history.
This is my second copy of the same book. The first one was destroyed by water, and I couldn't wait to replace it.Read full review...

Great gift for the Looney Tunes fan in your family.

Bought it for my aunt for christmas, and she absolutely loved it. She's a big fan of Looney Tunes, Marvin the Martian in particular. After she (finally) set it down, I thumbed through it a little. Huge coffee table sized book full of drawings, animation, history of warner brothers and history on charecters. Gives you a list in the back of artworks for sale and where to buy them. Book goes from the start of warner brothers thru to the cartooning section being made then into each of the warner brothers cartoonists and their history and impact. It gives you the history of the cartoon charecters also. All along the way is artworks from looney tunes and batman, to the current warner charecters.
