Great replacement

Pump motor is same as Hayward, Polaris brands, older style: Century makes them..
It is noticeably different when seeing in action: volute moves forward at start, and it sends more pressure to the pool vac which now needs only 10-15 minutes to get pool clean.
It makes a bit more noise, only a bit, and gasps when it shuts off, probably the rectraction of the volute makes that noise. Longevity would be the critical rating factor, but after a few days in action, there is no way to project longevity.
I would give it 4 1/2 stars, and that's the highest I would give ANY pump.Read full review...

Waterway Booster Pump

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the booster pump and hoses included. Appears to be quieter than my Polaris PB4-60 (when new). Even with cost of hiring someone to install because I was not well at the time of arrival of the pump, I came out with less expense than buying the previous brand pump.Read full review...

Very good so far

Only had for about a month. Came with fittings and hoses and easily installed in the same space as previous pump. Noticeably stronger than old worn out pump.
