A Funny Movie

Good quality dvd. Love the storyline. I am also a fan of Gene Hackman(who has retired from acting).

Had high hopes but it's TRASH

One of the worst movies I've seen lately, comes across as a low budget film! Terrible writing, and the acting was not believable. Then things are put in there that are totally unnecessary, such as an old man running naked through the town (oh unless you count his socks and shoes he's wearing), and people act like that's normal. Granted you only see his back side, but still PG-13 really? And lets not forget a dog humping another dog, and this was only the very beginning. I had enough, wish I never bought it. Funny Movie for a Great Deal

Since my family vacations in Maine, I thought that I would give this movie a try plus I got it at a great price. Gene Hackman plays the role of the former President of the United States and is moving to his vacation home in Mooseport, Maine. He is asked to be the mayor of Mooseport but then the counsel realized that the local plumber has put in for the race. There are lots of twist and turns as they race for the position. Entertaining..

This movie can be a lot of fun if you do not try to take it too seriously. Both stars fit their roles very well. And the story is pretty much based on real attitudes... good for a laugh!

Entertaining for the family

You don't see Ray Romano in too many movies, but he is very funny in this one. He stars with Gene Hackman who is a retired president.
