This Hard disc can be used as a laptop hard disc and as a portable (external) hard disc.
WD (Western Digital) is a good brand for hard disc and if it can be bought more cheaper it's good.
My friend said that WD HDDs face hardware, power failiures sooner than other HDDs. But I'm using an external 2TB WD HDD for more than a year now and It's working perfectly.Read full review...

I purchased this to do a clean Windows 8 install on a 2yr old laptop. The operation was successful and the HD has been working flawlessly for the last month. The hard Drive works well the only problem I had with it was that it was smaller height ways & had to mod the case to make it so that my computer would recognize it I'm sure if it was used on a newer computer it wouldn't be an issue.Read full review...
