Remarkable book that addresses root of problems

The book thorough addresses the root of problems. As a daughter of immigrant parents who were Estonian, I saw specific sensitivities in progressing in school and learning socialization. I found the best teachers who welcomed children of immigrants, who were not perfect in English, but showed ambition to learn the language and better themselves in many disciplines. The book examines how problems originate and how at times in our lives we may not be getting the right help, whether it is an after-school program or being pressured to believe certain products or memberships will benefit and rise you over your circumstances. The book engages me and I begin to remember challenging times in my life. I believe when my mother searched for better answers, found answers. I saw that when teachers understood me. Yes, there are people who are impatient working with students who don't comprehend quickly their lessons, but right encouragement will get them far. I graduated college and found jobs that opened new opportunities to grow. This is a remarkable book as it really opens your insight.Read full review...

This Is Really A Great Important Helpful Book, But As Many Readers Have Rightly Said The Print Is Way Too Small

This is a great important helpful book, but as many customers on Amazon etc have said, the printing is ridiculously extremely small which makes it really difficult to read and Oprah's lines are in medium light blue which wouldn't be as much of a problem if the print wasn't so small and it's really the smallest print I have ever seen in a book!Read full review...
