Let's start of with, I'm a beginner to metal detecting. This detector has been great. I've been using it to find coins. It has a really nice discrimination. The built in pin pointer helps out a lot. I figured I would try this detector out before buying a more expensive one. As of now, I won't be upgrading for awhile. In the past week and half, I've found 33 quarters, 32 dimes, 4 nickels, 69 pennies. That's 138 coins, but whose counting. Haven't found any jewelry yet. I dug a lot of trash at first. Then I read the instructions on how to discriminate. I've had no problems with the unit so far. Keeping my fingers crossed. As far as a coin shooter machine, this is great for the price. I took a chance not knowing anything about machines and it paid off.

Worth the $$
If you’re just getting into the hobby of digging, this is the one to go with. Simple to use, plus easy on the wallet as well. Comes with some goodies as well. Highly recommend when you do buy, get the 4x6 DD coil. You find less “trash”. Also when purchasing, I recommend mci_products!
