A fun game with a nice aesthetic, but some flaws.

As I see it, White Knight Chronicles 2 is not so much a sequel as it is the second half of a complete game. There are some very nice revamps in place from the first game's mechanics, making the whole thing fit together as a cohesive whole.

The plot suffers a bit from the meandering nature of many Level-5 games, with your characters meeting characters as they travel across the world that never again come into play (at least during the course of WKC1), but the Incorruptus are a lot of fun to work with.

Ally AI seems a bit smarter now too, as they're more willing to cast buffs and such if you call them out to act, but there's still some beneficial spells and skills AI allies refuse to use. On the upside, you can now take two along with you on solo guild missions, which is good since there's really no one to play with online to do the lower level missions.

All in all it's a fun semi-action RPG to play, if you can put up with a somewhat silly story.Read full review...

It's honestly better than i was expecting.

Sure the story is a little cliche but there's so many aspects of it that make it great. Not only are there like 8 classes but you can choose to make hybrid classes and reset character skills up to lvl 35 which believe me, that's enough time to know the classes and finds what you want. There are several weapon types and many more different weapons in each category. You can combine for example two store bought swords to create one even more powerful. Not to mention you can upgrade weapons and armor alike. I was expecting little of the graphics, and while they're certainly no FFXV, they are nothing to stick your nose up at. You can buy land and build your own town, fill it with people you meet and buy things from the shops there just like any other town. Character customization was lacking in the mouth department but the wide assortment of everything else, especially hair, made it not half bad given a little patience.Read full review...

Great item and great story. Wish they never took the online away.

This is the second part of the game. If you have not played the first one it would be good to play it first. This game takes place after the first one with all the same characters. I find this game entertaining and somewhat better then the first one though.
Please note though this game is no longer able to be played online as they closed the servers to the game down (as the sales for the game did not do at all good). Even though you can not play online it is still a great game with a wonderful story line.
This game is a little longer then the first one was and they also fixed many things to make this game better. To me this would be a great buy and that I believe that it will be considered a hidden treasure.Read full review...

Great game

This is a great role playing game. Its a turned based game and very detailed. The book that came with it made all the difference in the would. Story line of the game was great.
