Everyone loves Poohbear..maybe not this game.

Let's face it, you're about to buy this game because of the characters. Before you put your money out for this game, you need to take into consideration what you're expecting from this game and the age of your child who will be playing. (I'm assuming you're not buying it for yourself, and if you are, please don't, it's not THAT amusing)

Disney's Winnie the Pooh: Rumbly Tumbly Adventure is geared toward the very young child about the age of 4-5. It may come off as too complicated at 3 and extremely dull at 6. The premise of the game is to help Poohbear make it to his final destination while overcoming puzzle like problems along the way. (i.e. Need to cross a bridge, but it is missing a board which lies across a place blocked by bees)The puzzles are challenging enough to keep the game somewhat interesting, but can be problematic in spots if the stump the player leaving them in need of help. (That's where you'll come in more than you think, or your child will wander around in circles)

The whole cast of characters is available in different areas in the game to take part as semi-controlable players, task or hint givers, or as bad guys(hephalumps and woozles)

The game also has a few mini-games throughout, but these become repititive and mind numbing after the first half dozen times, as does the same dialogue over and over again. Our tolerance is somewhat lower than our children though and they should have little problem dealing with it.

Overall The game could be much worse. We're talking about a kid's game here. It is mildly amusing and offers younger children something to play besides fighting and racing games. My daughter loves the game for some reason, which is why I had to buy another copy because the first was damaged in an accident. I suppose her appreciation for the game carries more weight than my opinion, since the game was for her in the first place.

If you have a younger child that enjoys Pooh, buy the game and give it a chance, especially if you find a copy at a decent price to make it worthwhile.

Great game for the younger children

I was searching for a game my younger grandchildren could play and I found it!!! I bought this game for my granddaughter when she was about 3 1/2 and she has just turned four and she has it pretty well mastered. It has a playing mode for the very young (or beginners) that involves wandering around the 100 acres and pushing the green button to perform simple feats that are very useful learning tools to advance into the birthday parties. The birthday parties are like a treasure hunt where you must accomplish various tasks in order to give the different characters their birthday present. Each birthday party is a little more difficult than the one previous, until you get to Winnie the Pooh himself. I found that one to be a little challenging even for myself. (I will admit I am not a professional gamer.) My granddaughter did panic in the beginning when the Hef-a-lumps first came along, but she can get by them by herself now too. It is one of the kids favorite games. They don't have to know how to read to play this one.

It has provided hours of enjoyment for both myself and the grandkids, and I have highly recommended this game to everyone I know with smaller children, and several of my family members now own this game for their kids too.

It also accommodates 2 players to play mini-games that are unlocked from completing each birthday party.

Great game for kids

Great game for those 3 and over. FUN and entertaining. It is easy for kids to play though some of the tasks are a little too difficult for kids who are 3 years of age. As the child gets older the game will be more enjoyable.Read full review...

Winnie the Pooh's Rumbly Tumbly Adventure

This is an ok game. Purchased for the grandbaby who loves pooh BUT she really shows no interest in it. Its slow paced and she wants more adventure and shes only 3. It will keep your child occupied for about 1 hr. Not very clear to a child what comes next and what moves you need to make.Read full review...
