AMAZING BOOK that inspired an AMAZING FILM..can't go wrong =)

This book is amazing,it's written as if you are with a group of friends telling stories,it catches your attention and never lets you go and is also a very easy read. It's about the life of HENRY HILL, it explores everything from his childhood to his life in the mob alongside notorious gangsters such as (Jimmy Conway,Paul Sorvino and Tommy Devito),all the way to life for Henry Hill after he went into the witness protection program. I happen to rank "GOODFELLAS" as one of my all time favorite movies and this is the book it was inspired from. I read this book after i had seen the movie numerous times (too many to count lol) and i was thinking "okay this is gonna be like basically reading the movie" ,which it was but you also read things that were never discussed in the movie and a lot of the characters that were involved in some parts of the film were not really involved in the book. I loved the book almost as much as the movie and i'm certain anyone will love it the same. If you haven't seen "GOODFELLAS" and are interested in this book,you are in for a treat. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has seen the film,interested in mafia or just has some downtime or maybe taking a mini vacation,because it is a fairly quick read. I have also seen it quite cheap used,so you won't be breaking the bank for this book. Bottom line it's an amazing read,you won't be disappointed.Read full review...
