A great DVD for fans of the series

This is the first and only movie featuring WordGirl, and I consider it to be a good investment as I am a fan of this PBS kids series. I was a little disappointed in how easily Miss Power was defeated in the final segment, but overall it was a good story line.

Besides the main story, I was also interested in it because of the full-length Pretty Princess story included between the segments. This story-within-a-story is referred to many times throughout the WordGirl episodes, but this the only time we get to see the characters in their own full-length episode.
