Very good transceiver. I use it at home and made 5 contacts using 2- 20m hamsticks in a dipole configuration. When a station is strong, the sound quality is good. I'm getting reports of 5-5 running at 20W from New Jersey to Georgia. It has many features that I'm learning. YouTube has many help videos for this radio. The documentation is in Japanese. This is the Japanese version so it's limited to 50 watts on SSB and you lose a lot of 160m but I'm using this radio primarily for portable operation so neither of these are any bit of a concern.
