This is an older version of the highest amperage rating of stereo receivers by Yamaha. It is particularly good for certain speakers with high impedance. In addition I like to hear music with full digital capabilities rather than mp3.

Yamaha does well with this as well as the FM tuner.

The one I bought has a defect in station selecting probably from handling. But it was used and is functional.Read full review...

It's a great receiver, and the variable loudness control is something you don't see on many other units. The one con is that there is a little low level buzzing, detectable if you're very close to the speakers and the unit is paused.
