Yoko Kanno is brilliant

I bought this CD for Time to Know - Be Waltz, which is a upbeat piece to start the day. I first heard it waiting in line at a Japanese restaurant and asked for the artist's name. Have been listening to all sorts of music by Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts ever since and like a lot of it. I never watched the Cowboy Bebop anime series, so I'm a little behind the times. Be Waltz has a little bit of a 1970s Flora Purim/ Chick Corea vibe. Totally upbeat. The rest of the CD cuts are all over the place in style- including American country, and Middle Eastern.
