Seems fun, Sad you can't play it on new tvs.

So I originally got this game for my birthday when I was about 7 maybe 8 years old.

My mom bought it without knowing that it required the super scope 6, so four hours upon hours I'd watch the intro wondering what it would be like to play the game...

I was obsessed then just yesterday I came across a CIB Super Scope 6 for $20 and offer I just couldn't pass up.

After such I remember this game and figured I would buy it, then found out that the old guns Zappers for NES, Super Scope 6 and etc don't work on newer TV(s) so I was deprived of one of my child hood memories and something I never got to do as a child.

It really sucked to figure that out, but I'm going to be buying a CRT tv soon for the sole purpose of finally getting to play this game.

It was apparently the only FPS mario game ever created, and it looks fantastic.Read full review...

A must for any Mario or Yoshi fan!

Yoshi's Safari is a pleasure to play. I had a blast shooting my way through the levels! The Koopa-lings sprites are really nicely animated and other mini-bosses too. There's lots of familiar villains from the Mario series and nice overworld maps that look similar to the Super Mario World landscape. Classic Super Nintendo graphics, vibrant colors throughout the game and really upbeat bubbly music. If you're looking for classic mario gameplay, look elsewhere. This is a first person on rails shooter. A snes super scope is required to play this game, and I highly recommend buying one and trying some of the games used for it out, especially this one. Yoshi's Safari takes you through about 12 stages roughly and they all are varied in looks, but the gameplay stays the same throughout. You aim at the screen, and shoot goombas... or koopa troopas. One minor complaint about the game is the length. It was a little too short for my taste, but with gameplay as repetitive as this you could just play the stages over again and it would be just as effective.Read full review...

one of the awesome game of the year fun to play if your inrested in this game i got say well u just can't get enough of this & take my word for it this game is awesome to play if your gamer & u don't what to play this is it i recommend on this game it so worth playing 10 out 10 perfect
plus beleave gamers i got the worlds greatest to the worst & take from me i just love even the world dumdest game could be awesome on my book to graphic well don't see the problem with but all i can is a job well done sound hmmmm i hear just it perfecly the music i think i love videogame music i just can't get enough of it & the gameplay well as u see its like i all ready knew how to play when i got it at the store ready if u don't beleave what i say then take look at the game 4 yourself if u don't like it then don't play it plus the video game company work hard everyday to make it just the way we want game to be made u did me proud game comanys u win my vote
