Michael Cera is looking for love again
Nick Twisp (played by Michael Cera) is a torments 16 year old virgin who has few friends, a divorced mother who goes through boyfriends faster than you can say hello. HIs father is a complete looser who cannot find a job and is living with a girl 1/2 his age. Nick meets Sheeni Saunders (Portia Doubleday) and immediately falls head over heals for her. Unfortunately nothing seems to go right for Nick as his life takes twists and turns along the way to loosing his virginity.
This movie is very much like the other Cera movies. Michael is a great actor who seems to have been typecast as the nerdy looser who will never score.
Also staring in this movie are: Jean Smart as Estelle Twisp, Mary Kay Place as Mrs. Saunders, Zach Galifianakis as Jerry, Justin Long as Paul Saunders, Ray Liotta as Lance Wescott, Steve Buscemi as George Twisp, M. Emmet Walsh as Mr. Saunders, Jonathan B. Wright as Trent Preston, Erik Knudsen as Leroy "Lefty", Adhir Kalyan as Vijay Joshi, Fred Willard as Mr. Ferguson, Ari Graynor as Lacey, Rooney Mara as Taggarty, Jade Fusco as Bernice Lynch and Lise Lacasse as Matron
If you enjoyed Juno or the 40 year old virgin, you will enjoy this movieRead full review...

Funny!!! Need I say more!
I recommend this movie to people that like the humor of Michael Cera. He is funny because of his innocent look and voice, but this just makes him funnier. I loved the movie and like I said if you liked Superbad or Year One, the Michael Cera role, then you will love Youth in Revolt!!!Read full review...
Youth in Revolt
I loved this movie. I didn't expect to enjoy it, due to my lack of interest in Michael Cera, but I was surprised by his performance in this movie. He still played that awkward teenager, but with a twist. It's no award winning greatness, but it is entertaining, hilarious, and has something special about it that encouraged me to own this DVD.Read full review...

Great Film
Youth In Revolt is a great movie starring the one and only Michael Cera who is living a life of virgin-es and has a crazy life going for him. Upon moving into a trailer park he meets this girl who he ends up having a thing for. He's not cool enough though he thinks to himself so he creates a fictional character or a split personality to try and revolt and be bad. Things end up coming to a demise but the ending is great! I would definetly reccomend seeing this movie!Read full review...
Great Movie.
I love this movie. Francois FTW. Is this what every guy kinda does to a lesser degree? Or is it what we all do? create an alter ego to help us get what we want when on the iiiinside... all we want is to feel like we don't have to try to be cool.. to be cool? I don't know. I have a Francois. Mine doesn't arsonist-y though. I recommend this movie.. in comparison to a lot of movies (with a target audience under 21) this was creative, fun and entertaining... everything a movie ought to be. :)Read full review...
michael cera movies
i realy like michael cera as an actor. hes funny without trying hard to obviously be funny, its something about his facial expressions, body language and the way he delivers his lines. hes good at playing the shy, kinda geeky guy but he doesnt take it too far. the movie itself is funny and ironic but not the usual cheesy, predictable teen comedy.Read full review...
