Protect my ipad
I like the zag defender case. It is of good quality and allows for the tablet to be removed and be stand alone. The backlit key board is a nice feature in low light situations. The only draw back i saw with it was the volume location on the tablet protection area does not line up real well. This is not an issue when using the key board since there are up and down buttons on the key board to control the volume. In a stand alone situation without the key board the volume control with the case on might be hard to accomplish. Read full review...

A great product, poorly executed.
This product is excellent for about a year, then the spring that holds the iPad in position breaks, and I have to buy another one. Unfortunately I have not found a comparable design, so I replace it knowing that it will have a limited lifespan. Top heavy, imbalanced
With the IPad installed in the case the keyboard will not stay flat on the desk. I have to place a book or something behind the iPad to support it or the iPad falls back and the front of the keyboard flips up off the desk.
